A compressed natural gas vehicle has been permitted to run in CA High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes, apart from Nissan Leaf, due to its inherently low emission capacity.  It’s none other than the Honda Civic GX. The 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas has an improved fuel economy in the city by 12.5% and in the Highway by 5.5% over its outgoing model.
